At Conexus, we invest a large portion of our Community Investment Program funds into programs and initiatives that impact the lives of people across Saskatchewan. Working alongside our community partners enables us to address important social issues in our province and contribute to a thriving Saskatchewan.

Our Community Investment Partners

Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation

Funding from Conexus supports the operation of the Family Amenities Fund. Parents and caregivers have the opportunity to apply for funds to help cope with both the day-to-day and unexpected costs associated with having a child staying at the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital. This family-centered program offers a tangible solution to the stressors imposed on families of sick and injured children.

Heart Linked Community Services Co-operative

Heart Linked delivers retreats and online programs for girls to encourage the building of self-esteem, relationships, identity and leadership skills. The programs are focused on Northern Saskatchewan communities and create opportunities for growth and self-discovery.

Sask Polytechnic

Conexus is a sponsor of the annual Health and Wellness Day hosted by the School of Health Sciences at Sask Polytechnic’s onsite dental clinic in Regina. At this event, dental professionals volunteer their time to provide free care to individuals in the community who would otherwise not be able to afford it.

Foundations Learning & Skills Saskatchewan

Foundations Learning & Skills is a non-profit organization that changes lives throughout our province by providing free literacy, learning, and skills development programs to help residents participate more fully in their communities. Programs are delivered in partnership with trained volunteers and like-minded community partners. Conexus funding is specifically focused on financial literacy programs, which aligns with our mission as a credit union.

Prince Albert Literacy Network

Conexus supports the Prince Albert Literacy Network in delivering financial literacy workshops with the goal of improving the financial and social well-being of the Prince Albert community. PALN focuses on empowering low literacy individuals who lack the skills, knowledge or experiences to effectively manage their finances, helping to build knowledge and confidence.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Saskatchewan

Big Brothers Big Sisters Saskatchewan matches young people with professionally screened and trained volunteer mentors, empowering youth who face adversity to realize their full potential. Conexus provides funding to support four Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies across Saskatchewan (Regina & Area, Saskatoon, Yorkton, and Lloydminster) to support province-wide matches between Big Brothers/Big Sisters and mentees

Saskatchewan Roughriders Foundation

Conexus is the presenting sponsor for two Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation school-based programs: Win with Wellness and The Rider Reading program. Both programs feature trained players from the Roughrider roster presenting in elementary schools across the province. Win with Wellness focuses on starting conversations with older students about mental wellness and resilience, destigmatizing this important topic. The Rider Reading program sees Rider players join classrooms of younger students, sharing books and their love of reading.

YWCA Regina

Conexus is a foundational sponsor of the YWCA’s Centre for Women and Families in Regina, which opened in the fall of 2024. The centre provides wrap-around services in one location for women and families who are escaping violence and experiencing homelessness. The Community Support Hub, located in the front lobby of the facility, is a critical hub for the delivery of services.

University of Regina – Darke Hall

Conexus was a major supporter of the University of Regina’s plan to revitalize the College Avenue Campus in Regina, including the restoration of the historic world-class performing arts centre, Darke Hall.

The Circle Project

Based in Regina’s North Central neighbourhood, the Circle Project provides support and programs based on the Aboriginal vision of wholeness, balance and healing. Together, their programs help break down barriers to education and employment and assist vulnerable individuals and families in building independence and sustainability. Conexus is proud to help support this critical work.

North Central Family Centre

The North Central Family Centre operates as a trusted and welcoming space, providing programs and services that empower children, youth and families in Regina’s North Central neighbourhood. Programs include after-school programs, recreational activities, meals, employment readiness training, and housing support. Support from Conexus has helped with program delivery, offering hope and a brighter future.
